Sathya's trip to - South Africa!

Sathya with Dr. Padma Subramaniam @ Chennai Airport
It is indeed like a dream!  A great for us as it was we, Sathya, his mom and self had been to Chennai Airport around same period in 2003, which tour was the launching pad for Sathya!

Today we, the parents went to Chennai Airport with SAthya to drop him for his tour to SA under ICCR for Dr. Padma Subramaniam and Party!  A great recognition for the instrument, the artist and is indeed a proud moment for all his well wishers and lets all join together to thank The Almighty for this!

Our sincere condolence to the family, near and dears of Dr. T. P. Naidoo, who was founder Chairman of Indian Academy, Durban South Africa who left us all in Durban at 10 am local time.

Dr. T. P. Naidoo is a strong in ethics and lived with values and humbleness. He has been instrumental in conducting St. Tyagaraja Festival for many years and has been inviting artists from India and has honoured many leading musicians namely, Sri. T. N. Seshagopalan, Smt. Sudha Raghunathan and the legendary Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna.

We as family are indebted to his encouragement and guidance and will miss him for ever! It was Indian Academy under his Chairmanship along with his daughter Smt. Vasantha Naidoo, Director Indian Academy, SA which gave Sathya the essential breakthrough in life with the biggest opportunity and recognition at his tender age of 8!

Dr. T. P. Naidoo is a great social scholar and a great orator. He is respected very much in the Indian community of South Africa and worked for their welfare! We as family cannot express our sadness on hearing this news and shall pray for his Soul to rest in Peace!

We still remember the announcement he made in the local Durban, SA during the Tyagaraja Festival day in 2003 saying, "We in South Africa are proud to have given Gandhi to India and now we are equally proud to have unearthed & recognized the talents of a Child Prodigy Musician Sathya". What a great thought and blessing for Sathya!

Hope Sathya lives up to his words and become a complete Musician and more importantly a good Human!
