Sathya today performed a concert for a private function with the team of Sri S P Ananthapadmanabha - Violin, Sri J Vaidhyanathan - Mrudhangam and heArtbeat Sri S Karthick - Ghatam. Sathya started with Hamsadwani varnam followed by Thathvamariya tharama on reethigowla which had a brief alapana and a good swara prayogams. Even though it was a new team it looked as if it was for the nth time they were performing together.
Understanding the mood of the audience and presenting krithis is an art by itself and Sathya today exhibited it with a good selection of krithis which had the following after the above two numbers:

The first picture is that of a cameraman from CNN IBN news channel taking few clippings to be used in their news channel for a small story on SAthya to be telecasted on the 14th Nov'06.
After the concert was over we went to Valluvar Kottam to see another huge hoarding of POGO and this time Ghatam Karthick was also there with us to share the happy moment.
