Sathya today performed for Nada Sudha, a 7 year old organisation in Velacheri celebrating their 4th Music festival, on the innagural day under Secy. Sri Balasubramaniam. Sri J Chandramouli GM Finance Great Lakes presided, Sri T.S. Raghavan EX-Chairman Indian Bank inagurated and Sri N Balasubramanian gave a special speach. The Secy of the sabha Sri Balasubramaniam explained how hard it is for conducting the music festival due to paucsity of funds and support. His dream is to make this a great forum for Carnatic music in this area. There was a good number of rasikas present and were enjoying the concert later after the function.
Sathya has Sri L. Ramakrishnan - violin, Sri Thillaisthanam Suriyanarayanan - mrudhangam and Sri E.M. Subramaniam - ghatam were the enhancement artists for the concert today and it was indeed a great presentation in all. Sathya & Ramakrishnan were enjoying themselves with good understanding and were competing each other during the kalpanaswaras.
Being the first time for this area the rasikas showed great interest in knowing the details on Sathya with regard to gurus and his practice sessions at home.
