Sathya started the Tamil NewYear with a concert for Asthika Samajam on the 14th April'07 and it turned to be very good. With Karaikal Venkatasubramaniam on violin, Kumbakonam Saravanan on Mrudhangam and Papanasam Sethuraman on Kanjeera, the team was very energitic throughout. This is inspite of teh fact that Sathya and Sri Saravanan wwere ther in Pethachi auditorium for sound check from 130 - 415pm.
Sathya elaborated on the kalpanaswaram for Hamsadwani and Harikambodhi apaprt form the main krithi Ramanukku Mannan Mudi on Hindolam. His kalapramanam was really apt for each song and the list was very much appreciated by the audience. Karikalar excelled with his style of accompanying and infact he was very helpful and encouraging too.
As requested by a rasika's request Sathya finished the concert with Manasa Sancharare on SAMA. Sri Saravanan and Sethuraman presented a good enhancement and gave a sweat & short thani. Sathya and Saravanan almost ran themselves out to Sivakami Pethachi Auditorium as they had to perform for a music ensemble under Sathya for Brahma Gana Sabha's 39th Anniversary.
