It was like a home coming for Sathya after couple of years into this venue which he likes because of the location near the airport with flights often seen while you are performing. The team of Sathya with Ananthapadmanabha on Violin, Thillaisthanam Suriyanarayanan on Mrudhangam and Hariharasubramanian on Ghatam & morsing presented a concert to the utmost satisfaction of the audience who were themselves well informed of our traditional music. Presence of a young vidwan Pogo amazing Kid 2008 Abilash added charm in the audience.

Starting with a varnam the team presented krithis enjoyed by the selective audience who were present with good ears for this Carnatic on keyboard concept. When RTP was announced the surprise was seen in their faces and with teh speech of the Secretary, it was evident that Sathya succeeded in his efforts. SP Ananthapdmanabha with his rich experience of accompanying for Vidhushis Bombay Sisters enhanced the concert with his perfect accompaniment. he percussion team was always going great with Sathya and gave a crisp thani. he bhajan pieces from Sathya's album was well received by all present. A great start for the December Music Season 2009-2010

What can one ask for more than the blessings to perform for Guru Yogi Ramsurathkumar's Jayanthi festival as your first concert for a season?

A great day, thanks to Om Bhavatharini amma for the oppurtunity extended, indeed as Sathya attempted to perform a thematic concert with krithis based on Yogi's life which story was narrated. The krtihis followed and it was a musical presentation of the life history of this great guru. With his blessings i am sure Sathya's performance this year will be appreciated with the grace of Almighty. Please do come and bless Sathya where ever possible and the details are in http://concertschedules.blogspot.com/

Saraswathi Pooja day Concert at Koothanur Saraswathi Temple - 27 Sep'09

Sathya was indeed blessed to have got the oppurtunity to perform at the Temple of Goddess Saraswathi - God of Music, on the Saraswathi Pooja day this year on the 27th Sep'09. Thanks to Sri. Jayaraman and the temple authorities and it was a good presentation as expressed / informed by them after the concert. The team of Sathya with Karakal Venkatasubramanian on violin, Sri Keerthivasan on the Mrudhangam and Krishnababu on Thalam & kanjeera were appreciated by the interested listeners at the temple. Thanks to a well wisher of Sathya who had come to listen to this concert from Mayavaram, for taking the photos and videos.

and the audio is under serial number 030 of www.sangeethamshare.org/sathya
Interesting news is that it was indeed the first time Sri Keerthivasan was performing for Sathya and they decided to perform the Pancharathna Mallari set to Ata thalam which was discussed just before the concert and the team performed it so well that the Nadaswara vidwan Thirurameswaram Sri TRK Karthegeyan, after the concert, informed that this was indeed the reason for the team to have stayed back for the concert till the end. Thanks for the involvement of the Nadaswara Vidwan who was on thalam throughout. It was also for the first time Sathya attempted to perform aalapana and the kalpanaswaram for Dwajavanthi and what a place to make a start! Sringeri Bharthi Vidhyashram concert on 20th September, 2009 at T. Nagar.

This September is probably the month of - Dreams coming True. It looks like that for us. Staying in West Mambalam and passing this temple located in Venkatanarayana Road, T. Nagar Chennai, we always dream of getting an oppurtunity to perform in this Temple premises and that dream also came true this September. Thanks to Sri Subramaniam and all the officials of this Math Temple Sathya got the oppurtunity to perform on the 20th September, 2009.

It turned out to be even more greater with living Mrudhangam Legend, adored as Nandheekeswarar - Sangeethakalanidhi Sri Umayalpuram K. Sivaraman sir blessing Sathya being in the august audience which had lots of his well wishers including Sri T. V. Goplalakrishnan affectionately called as Tee Vee Gee of Sangeethamshare.org. It was indeed so nice of Sri UKS ji to have accepted our invitation and our sincere thanks to him to have stayed back for the entire concert. Blessings at the best for Sathya and we sincerely hope to get his valuable suggestions, inputs for Sathya to proceed in is musical efforts henceforth.

Sathya was enhanced by M. Rajeev on Violin and Erode Nagaraj on Mrudhangam who performed at their best in embellishing the efforts of Sathya's efforts. Sathya's effort of doing grahabetham in the kalyani aalapana on to Mohanam was well received and getting acknowledgement from rasikas & co-artists is indeed a great pleasure and that was seen in his face. Rajeev won the hearts of the rasikas with his great act of following krithis and also while doing the aalpanas. Erode Nagaraj was at his best, blessed with his guru's presence, and enhanced the best. The greatness of our carnatic system of music is the adaptability of artists just on stage and this was evident when Sathya tried some new korvais which was well received and performed by Sri Rajeev and Sri Erode Nagaraj, which surely have not been rehearsed with the artists before. Here is the link in serial 029 of www.sangeethamshare.org/sathya for the audio of this concert and we would appreciate your feedback comments and valuable suggestions.

In heArtbeat Ensemble Concert at Tirumala

"Dream becomes true" is what was proved on the 14th September, 2009 when Sathya was performing at Tirumala at the feet of Lord of Seven Hills! Yes it was indeed a dream for Sathya's paternal Grandmother who identified him as "God's Child" when he came to this world! She o seeing him perform Carnatic concerts on keyboard always wanted him to perform at Tirumala and her dream came true on the 14th Sep'09. It was indeed a great blessing and a blissful performance from the team of Dr. S. Karthick on Vocal & Ghatam, Embar S. Kannan on Violin, Poongulam Subramaniam on Mrudhangam, K.V. Gopalakrishnan on Kanjeera and Kalaimamani A. S. Krishnan on Morsing.

Sathya played a wonderful raaga aalapana for Sallabam and the team was at its best! Why not! as mentioned by Guruji Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna in his composition he sang at Tirumala on hem being bestowed with the Aasthana Vidwan title. He says that even though Lord Balaji Temple is seen all over the world, one at Tirumala is indeed unique and it is because of the Sthanam - Place or Location. With a performance from a devoted team it was only perfect that the best came out at the best of Location for a performance! Here is the link of the audio and this concert was seen by millions on SVBC TTD Channel and was echoing throughout the hills which was a divine moment for all in our family.

Sathya blessed to be under The Legendary Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna!

The greatest thing that has happened in Sathya's life after his return from USA & Canada is that he has been blessed to be the sishya of Padmavibhusahan Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna. Yes it is indeed a dream come true happening for us and it was a great blessing that Sathya has started his classes under the Living God of Music on the 9th July, 2009. This is indeed a great recognition for the efforts of Sathya to perform Carnatic on music and we are sure this is a great beginning for him and the instrument for the long journey in the field of Carnatic Music.
