Sathya's performance at the Capital for AAIWWA on 10th Feb'06

10th Feb'06 was indeed a great day for Sathya as he had the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience of around 3000 people at the Talkatora Stadium, New Delhi for the programme titled 'Spring Tide 2006' for Kalyanmayee, Airport Authority of India Women Welfare Association. He also had the blessed audience of Smt Usha Uthup, who performed a 90mt concert after Sathya's 60mt show.

Sathya had Sri Suri on Bass Guitar, Sri Thillaisthanam Suriyanarayanan on Mrudhunagam & Kanjeera, Sri Harihara Subramaniam on Ghatam, Sri Padmanabhan on Rhythm Pad, Sri Rajagopal on Tabla and his parents Lalitha and Krishnababu to give vocal support.

Sathya started the concert with Vathapi Ganapathim and followed it with

* a Spanish music number titled 54 beats.

* Bolere Pappi - sung by his mother Lalitha

* Musical notes on Sankarabaranam

* Papa Kehathey hey - instrumental

* Hungarian dance number

* Own composing based on keerawani, kaapi and gowrimanohari ragams

* Konjaneram konjum nerum - song from the film Chnadramuki sung by Lalitha & Krishnababu

* Namavali - Raghupathi raghava rajaram

* Vandhey Matharam

The crowd enjoyed the show and this was evident from the loud applause the group received after each song. Almost the entire crowd joined for the namavali - raghupathi raghava rajaram and he was complimented by Smt Usha Uthup for his excellent concert presentation . This was indeed a great blessing for Sathya and hope he grows to great levels slowly and steadily.
