Dear Sir,

This is about the program performed by Sathya on his magical instrumentKeyboard on 15th April 2007 at Villivakkam, for the 5th Sree Rama Navamicelebrations jointly conducted by Rajaji Nagar Welfare Association with Sathguru Sath Sangam, Villivakkam.

It was a very pleasant and soothing performance by Master Sathya. The program introduced with a mild Abogi varnam, with softer pitches and vibrantmoves. Later he took the audience to a scintillating performance on wellknown ragas such as Mahaganapatim on Nattai, Pancharatna krithi in Arabhi,Sudhamayi on Amirthvarshini etc. His main note on Nallinakanti followed by raga mallika swaras inkaraharapriya, brindhavana saranga, sree ragam was a good piece to showcause sathya's masterly skills.

The concert ended with a sweetful piece on kurai onrum illlai and vazhiyasenthamil. 2 hours of prg went off like 2 minutes and was even lingering oneveryone's ears even after the crowd dismantled. This was the phraserendered by the chief guest Dr. Mirasu David (Principal of St. John'sschool, villivakkam - president awardee), who being a person from non-hinducommunity to whom carnatic music is not very common. The team of accompannists did perform an enthralling support through out the program which added flavours to the main artiste. Specific references to theaccompanists on support in violin by Villivakkam, S. Raghuraman and on mrudangam by Thillai sthanam suryianarayan. The Ghatham and kanjira artists are upcoming artists of vikku vinayakaram's nephews, G Hari and and G Chandru on Kanjira. However they performed like seasoned artists. Best regards, and looking forward for future such programs
